Surah Al-Mulk is the 67th chapter of the Quran, consisting of 30 verses. Its primary theme is the greatness of Allah and His creation, demonstrating the power of the Creator through the wonders of the universe.
Protection in the Grave
This surah is famous for its ultimate reward: acting as a savior and intercessor for the one who recites it consistently. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Indeed there is a Surah in the Quran of thirty Ayat, which intercedes for a man until he is forgiven. It is [Surah] Tabarak Alladhi Biyadihil-Mulk." — Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2891
He ﷺ also stated that it is a protection from the punishment of the grave, and it was his practice to never sleep until he had recited both Surah As-Sajdah and Surah Al-Mulk.
